Philippians 4

1 So then, my brothers, beloved and longed for, my joy and my crown — in this way stand firm in the Lord, beloved. ◈◈

2 Euodia I appeal to, and Syntyche I appeal to, to be of the same mind in the Lord. ⌘◈

3 Yes, and I ask you too, genuine yokefellow: help these women, who contended side by side with me in the gospel, along with Clement and the rest of my fellow workers — whose names are in the book of life. ◈

4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say it — rejoice. ⌘◈

5 Let your forbearance be known to all people. The Lord is near. ⌘◈◈◈

6 Do not be anxious about anything; instead, in every circumstance — by prayer and by petition, with thanksgiving — let your requests be made known to God. ⌘◈

7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all mind, will garrison your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. ⌘◈◈

8 For the rest, brothers: whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence, whatever is righteous, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is well spoken of — if there is any excellence and if there is anything praiseworthy — take these into your reckoning. ⌘

9 And the things you learned and received and heard and saw in me — these keep on practicing; and the God of peace will be with you. ◈◈

10 And I rejoiced greatly in the Lord that now at last you have made your concern for me bloom again — a concern you did indeed have all along, but you were without opportunity. ⌘◈

11 Not that I am speaking out of any lack — for I myself have learned, in whatever circumstances I am, to be self-sufficient. ⌘◈◈

12 I know how to be brought low, and I know how to overflow; in everything and in all circumstances I have been initiated — both to be fed full and to go hungry, both to overflow and to fall short. ⌘◈◈

13 For all things I have strength in the one who empowers me. ⌘◈◈

14 Only — you did well in becoming fellow sharers in my affliction. ⌘

15 And you yourselves know, Philippians, that in the early days of the gospel, when I set out from Macedonia, no assembly entered into partnership with me on an account of giving and receiving — no one but you, ◈

16 because even in Thessalonica you sent for my need — and did so more than once. ⌘◈

17 Not that I am seeking the gift; rather, I am seeking the fruit that accumulates to your account. ⌘

18 And I have been paid in full — indeed, I overflow. I have been filled up, having received from Epaphroditus what came from you: a fragrant aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well-pleasing to God. ✦◈◈

19 And my God will fill up every need of yours according to his riches, in glory, in Christ Jesus. ⌘◈◈

20 Now to our God and Father be the glory into the ages of the ages. Amen. ◈⌘

21 Greet every saint in Christ Jesus. The brothers who are with me greet you. ⌘

22 All the saints greet you, and most of all those of Caesar's household. ◈

23 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. ⌘◈
